Knock Knees
Knock knees are a visible gap between the feet and ankles when standing with the knees together. It is a normal part of the development and is commonly seen in young children, especially between the ages of 2 and 5 years old. The knees straighten out over time as the child grows, becoming completely straight by the time they are 8 years old.
Usually, no intervention is required to treat this condition as it is corrected naturally over time. If knock knees occur in older children or teenagers, it may indicate an underlying condition such as rickets.
